Giz İnşaat'ın Maslak ve Levent'te bu kadar boş araziyi nasıl bulduğunu merak ediyorum doğrusu. Herhalde daha işin başından zamanla böyle bir skyline patlaması olacağını bildiklerinden ellerini çabuk tuttular; her yerde bir Cız-Bız Plaza yükseliyor...

In fact, most of these locations were not empty in the first place, but were occupied by other buildings, mostly factories. "Giz Insaat Yatirimlari Ticaret" owner, Can Elgiz, has been approaching these factory owners for some years now and striking deals with them to build joint office highrises (kat karsiligi) in place of their plants - in return for provision of construction financing by Can Elgiz which most of these factory owners lacked. Most of these plants were old anyway and have been planned for some time to be moved out by their owners to vacate space in the prime business districts of the city.
e.g.
Beybi Giz Plaza in Maslak - built in the place of the old "Beybi Eldivenleri" (Gloves) Factory
Harmanci Giz Plaza in 4. Levent - built in the place of the old "Harmanci Etiketleri" Factory
Is Giz Plaza in Maslak - built in the place of the old Mudo Clothing Factory, etc.
The new Giz Plaza is also being built in place of some (unknown for now) factory (which can still be seen standing in old photos from last year)

Maslakta bu Giz plazaların artması gayet guzel adamlar bır bınayı bıtırıp onun kalıplarıyla dıgerıne baslıyorlar , tek olumsuz yanı Gizin bınaları bırbırlerıne fazlaca benzıyorlar , daha ozgun bır mımarılerı olsa daha ıyı olurdu
ama Gizin Maslak a katkısı buyuk
Maslak ta yolunda gıtmeyen tek sey beledıye hızmetlerı , yolların hali icler acısı , saglam gıden araba bile o yollardan gectıkten sonra dogruca Ataturk sanayi sitesine gitmesi gerekiyor
belediye gelirlerine büyük katkısı olan bu muhitte aslında seçmen sayısı 0 , tabi yapılan hizmetlerde 0 , Maslak sadece işyerlerinden oluşuyor

Bir kac halka cik yer acilsin(mesela alisveriz merkezi) ozaman mecburen yapacaklar.Diamonds of Istanbul'un altinda olacak bir tane büyük alisveris merkezi,5 yila kalmaz metroda gelir buraya.Maslak La Defense gibi sirf yayalara acik bir yere dönüstürülürse cok güzel olacak.
