I am glad to finally crack the puzzle many of us, including myself, have long been trying to solve - whether the Novotel-named construction behind the TAT Towers is a separate, stand-alone, hotel or if it is only an extention to the TAT Towers.  
Today I found out that it is going to be an independent, 15-floor, hotel being built by the "Novo Otelcilik" company with the investment of US$ 10 million.

The only correction that could be made is that under no circumstances Novotel is going to be a 5 star hotel as claimed in the description. All the Novotel hotels across the globe are 3 or 4 stars.

Halil, here is another 4-star international coming to Istanbul pretty soon     Moreover, I still keep my fingers crossed for the TAT Towers (Sheraton? Le Meridien? whoever?)

Its really surprising,,
But this little building of Novotel wont have anyview. ..
It will probably be the first Five Star Novotel .. Stupid Ministery of Tourism gives 5 star to every hotel..
But in fact, it wil be a good 4 star business hotel..
So both towers are still available for a Luxury hotel..
I hope Le Meridien gets one, and Starwood gets the otherone ... two beautiful hotels nxt to eachother.. that would be cool ..

I am not surprised that it is going to be a small property. I guess smallness is a trademark of Novotel hotels across globe. The vast majority of their 3 and 4 stars are in the 100 - at best 150 room range.
Now, this is one of the largest ever Novotels, recently opened in Berlin Mitte, with 268 rooms. Look how unimpressive the building is (and we are talking about the property located right between between Potsdamer Platz and Alexanderplatz!)



I just thought now: the real shame will be if now, that the TAT Towers are finally relieved from the threat from Novotel , damn Tatlicis will not agree with no one and decide in the end to use them as offices

I keep on hoping that one day we will be talking of them as Sheraton

her gün o inşaatın önünden geçerek işyerine gidiyorum çok yakınız fakat inşaat bana ve diğer arkadaşlarıma da acayip derecede küçük geldi.15 katlı olabilir ama çok basık bir yere sıkıştırılıyor imajı çiziyor...kat aralıkları ve bina olarak çok dar ve kullanışsız mı gibi geliyor...tabii ki bu işin kompedanı değiliz ama herhalde inşaatı eline alan iç mimar utandıracak bizi diye düşünüyorum....şu anda pencereden bakıyorum ve üst katların betonunu döken araç işbaşında yaklaşık 11 kat civarında bitmiş gözüküyor....anında bilgi mi dediniz?
