Which mosque in Maltepe is that? I live practically next door to the Maltepe Merkezi Camii (the big one with the 4 minarets right next to the shopping street) and I do not really recognise it...
(PS "right next door" is not exactly true... I live about 3 minutes walk away but I can see the mosque when looking out of my bedroom window  )

Gerrit, as far as I understand you are living in Istanbul-Maltepe. This mosque is in Ankara There are couple of more different places in Turkey, called "Maltepe"
Another popular naming is "Atatürk caddesi" which almost exist in all cities, towns even in some villages
